Nike Regional XC
A number of Wyoming runners competed at the Nike Northwest Regional Cross Country races in Boise Idaho. 4A Champion Alex Sorenson of Evanston finished 9th overall in the boys varsity race. Sheridan’s Dylan Morin was 15th in the same division while Michael Lurh of Gillette was 44th.
3A state Champion Oliver Schofield of Jackson competed in the men’s open race and finished 16th overall.
4A Girls champion Hailey Ricks of Star Valley was 53rd in the girls varsity race. Jackson racers sienne Richard and Ellie Finagan were 57th and 59th respectively in the girls open race. They and their teammates were 8th in that open divison team standings.
There were several other racers that placed in different divisons including Junior Varsity.
