The 2A East Powder River Conference cross-country meet was held over the weekend at Tongue River High School in Dayton with some picturesque views for the runners and fans. The Big Horn boys won the team championship with Tongue River's Al Spotted winning the race in 16.57. He took 4th place at last year's 2A state meet.  Marcus James of Moorcroft placed 2nd in 17.58 with Ethan Alliot of Big Horn 3rd in 18.05. Gabe Schons of Big Horn was 4th and Wright's Dolan Glasser was 5th.

On the girl's side, Tongue River placed first as a team with Mallory Jones of Moorcroft taking first individually. Her winning time was 20.59 and she placed 2nd at last year's 2A state meet as a sophomore. Taking 2nd in this regional was Grace Perkins of Tongue River in 22.46 with Kylie Benim of Wright 3rd in 23.10. Abby Palus from Hulett took 4th and Tongue River's Liz Heser was 5th.
