Rocky Mountain Volleyball Eyes State Tournament Trip
The Rocky Mountain volleyball team lost some key players to graduation from a year ago so this year's team has a new complexion. The Grizzlies did not qualify for the 2A state tournament in 2020 but they look to be tournament-worthy this year.
Rocky took 2nd place in the silver bracket of the Thermopolis tournament over the weekend, losing to Big Piney in the final, 2 sets to one. This team has height and experience with senior Josey Steed and junior Victoria Arnold. With regionals right around the corner, this will be a team to keep an eye on in 2A.
We had a chance to talk with Steed and Arnold after a thrilling win over Greybull in that Thermopolis tournament. We also have some extra pics of this team compliments of Rocky Mountain High School. Enjoy!
