Rocky Mountain’s Taylin Boettcher has signed to play volleyball at Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD.

Boettcher was an all-state selection after the 2020 season and a two-time all-conference pick for the Grizzlies. She had 159 kills, 217 digs, and 39 service aces to lead Rocky Mountain during her senior season. The Grizzlies were 9-9 last fall and 1-3 in the 2A Northwest Quadrant.

“It means a lot,” Boettcher recently told the Lovell Chronicle. “This is what I have been setting my goals for.”

Boettcher added in the article that she fit right in with the team. “I loved it when I went and played with the team. It felt like home automatically.”

The senior is also an all-conference basketball play at Rocky Mountain High School and a regional champion in the high jump.

Boettcher will play for Coach Chelsey Albrecht at Presentation College. The Saints compete at the NAIA level of college athletics and are part of the North Star Athletic Association, which has eight full members in the states of Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
