It was another match-up between the old Energy Bowl participants as Campbell County played host to Sheridan on Friday night. Sheridan has been tough all year long and the Broncs put points in the board first thanks to a four-yard run for a touchdown by Colson Coon. He followed that up with a 14 yard TD reception and at one point in the first half, Sheridan led by 17. The Camels did get a 50-yard scoring play from Mason Drube to Brady Tompkins to cut the gap to 17-7 near the end of the first half.

Sheridan scored two more touchdowns in the 3rd quarter and one in the 4th quarter. Plus the Bronc defense forced 3 turnovers in this 38-7 win. Sheridan at 7-1 will finish the regular season in Gillette against Thunder Basin on Friday. The Broncs could be the #1 seed in the 4A playoffs with a win on Friday, plus a win by Rock Springs over Cheyenne East, Depending on what happens in the final week, Sheridan could be the #2,#3, or #4 seed.

The Camels are 3-5 and will be in Casper on Friday to meet Kelly Walsh. The winner of that game will be the #6 seed in the 4A playoffs and the loser will be the #7 seed. We have more than a few awesome photos of that Campbell County-Sheridan game on Friday in our gallery compliments of Kellie Jo Allison. Be sure and check those out!
