Star Valley Championship Football Postgame Remarks

Star Valley has been a remarkably consistent football program with 5 state championships in 3A since 2015 and the last time the Braves missed the playoffs was in 2009. Star Valley was up against defending champion Cody in the 3A title contest on Friday in Laramie and the Braves played the Broncs tough in the regular season, despite a 35-25 loss. The guys in the white uniforms turned the tables posting a 14-7 win and made the most of their opportunities.

We talked with Star Valley players Taft McClure, Derek Astle, and Clay Merritt about this meaningful victory at War Memorial Stadium.
