Star Valley flexed its muscles ahead of the 3A playoffs with a dominating performance on Friday. The Braves went on the road to Jackson and soundly defeated the Broncs 48-7 to get to 7-2 on the year.

Each team found the end zone in the opening quarter of play with Jackson quarterback Owen Janssen getting in from the 1-yard line and Star Valley's Kaleb Spaulding reeled off a 36-yard run to the house.

Star Valley started to pull away in the 2nd quarter with a rushing touchdown from Tristian Hilton that covered 2 yards and a 4 yard run from Chase Stewart. The Braves led 21-7 at halftime and never looked back. In the 3rd quarter, Star Valley quarterback Taft McClure tossed a TD pass to Dimitri Douglarakis that went for 34 yards and another scoring strike to Stewart to bump the lead to 30. Spaulding and Brendan Beck added 4th quarter touchdowns for the Braves.

Star Valley gets a home playoff game in 3A as they will host 5-3 Lander on Friday. Jackson is in the playoffs as well as the #3 seed from the West. The Broncs will hit the road for Buffalo in the quarterfinal round of the playoffs.
