Wyoming High School Boys Swimming Scoreboard: Feb. 2-3, 2024

The 2024 Wyoming High School boys’ swimming and diving season is the first to reach the postseason. Teams head to four sites for the conference championships on Friday and Saturday. Class 3A competes in Gillette and Pinedale. Class 4A will hold theirs in Casper and Gillette. The 3A East and 4A East will hold their events at the same venue. The meets will run simultaneously with the 3A heats going first, followed by the 4A heats.

Next week will feature ‘Last Chance’ qualifying meets, and the state championships are in Laramie on Feb. 15-17, 2024.

Teams = Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Rock Springs

Team Scores = Laramie 385, Kelly Walsh 345, Rock Springs 231, Natrona County 128, Jackson 59.

Gunner Seiloff of Rock Springs swept the 50 & 100 freestyle races and was the only individual double-event winner. Kelly Walsh won two relays, the medley and 200 free.

4A East – in Gillette at the Campbell County Aquatics Center

Teams = Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Sheridan, Thunder Basin

Team Scores = Sheridan 287, Central 273, Campbell County 254, East 166, Thunder Basin 121, South 101.

Sheridan's Ben Forsythe captured the 50 free and 100 breaststroke. South's Caleb Brewer won the IM and Fly. Cy Gallion of Campbell County won the 100 & 200 free. The Camels won 2 relays, the 200 & 400 free.

3A South – in Pinedale at the Pinedale Aquatics Center

Teams = Evanston, Green River, Kemmerer, Lander, Lyman, Rawlins, Sublette County

Teams Scores = Lander 303, Evanston 286, Green River 198, Lyman 165, Rawlins & Kemmerer 113, Sublette County 98.

Lander's Benny Kulow won the 50 & 100 free races. Green River's Colin Gilmore won the 200 & 500 freestyle races. Lander's Finn Richards won the IM and Breaststroke races. Teammate Colby Blackburn won the Fly and Backstroke races. Lander also won the 200 & 400 free relays.

3A North (Absaraka Conf.) – in Gillette at the Campbell County Aquatics Center

Teams = Buffalo, Cody, Douglas, Newcastle, Powell, Riverton, Worland

Buffalo's Kieran Murray won the 200 free and tied for 1st in the butterfly. Teammate Tommy Wonka won the 50 free and 100 breaststroke races. Buffalo won the 200 medley and 400 free relays.
