The Hornets have more than a few players who can score

A few 1A and 2A teams gathered for the Wrangler Invite over the weekend.

The stars of wrestling were shining early.

Big Horn marched to the 2A State Title.

It took a while but the Wranglers reached the promised land.

The Wranglers throttled Rocky Mountain in the 1A 9 Man championship game.

For the first time in 36 years, the Shoshoni Wranglers are state football champs. They beat Rocky Mountain 19-6 for the 9-man title on Saturday in Laramie.

Two schools making their first appearance at the championships in Laramie will square off in the Class 1A-9 Man title game.

Shoshoni is in a football championship game for the first time in 36 years.

Those semi-final matches certainly were exciting.
