Talented Upton Volleyball Team Making Progress

The Upton volleyball posted their best win of the season with a 3 sets to 2 win over #1 Kaycee on the road on Saturday afternoon. It was a very competitive match start to finish with the Bobcats prevailing 25-20, 20-25, 25-21, 16-25, and 15-11.

This team has a 1-2 punch with seniors Alyson Louderback and Jerrica Caylor. Junior Lola Wozney provided a ton of energy and they have 2A state champion golfer Brooklyn Materi on their roster.  In addition, to that talent, they have a two-time all-state selection at the setter spot in Hailey Turner. This team has height, power and, skill it's just a matter of putting it all together, Right now, the Cats record is 6-3-3 and the team would love to have a strong showing at the upcoming state tournament. A year go, Upton went 1-2 at the state tourney with a 6th place finish.
