The top teams remain the same, and there’s at least one change in the latest WyoPreps Coaches and Media Football Poll.

Cheyenne East, Cody, Lovell, Pine Bluffs, and Little Snake River kept the No. 1 spot. The Rattlers are the only unanimous choice in the rankings.

Three new teams make their debut in the poll. Find the full rankings below.

Class 1A-6 Man is led by Little Snake River, which received all 14 first-place votes. Encampments’ shutout at Farson-Eden pushed the Tigers up one spot to second. Dubois dropped to third. Burlington held steady in fourth. The Midwest Oilers are in the rankings for the first time in a long time at No. 5.

The Hornets top the Class 1A-9 Man poll for the second straight week. They garnered 19 of the 20 first-place votes. The next three teams all moved up one spot. Shoshoni is now second, with Wind River third, and Lingle-Ft. Laramie is in fourth. After a 2-0 in a new division, the Big Piney Punchers are now part of the rankings in fifth.

Class 4A is the final division with a new team. The top four are the same as a week ago. Cheyenne East is still on top with 14 of the 19 first-place votes. The Thunderbirds have defeated the third and fourth-ranked teams on the road in back-to-back weeks. Defending state champion Sheridan is second. The Broncs earned four first-place votes. The last first-place ballot went to Thunder Basin. The Bolts remained third. Natrona County is an overwhelming pick for fourth. Making their season debut at No. 5 is the Campbell County Camels. They are coming off back-to-back wins, which included a come-from-behind win over previously fifth-ranked Rock Springs last Friday night.

Class 3A and Class 2A both had the same change. The third-ranked team lost last Friday, which dropped them two spots.

The Cody Broncs’ reign atop 3A continues. Amazingly, they are still not a unanimous No. 1 team. Cody got all but one first-place vote. Star Valley stayed second, despite a loss last week, but that was to an out-of-state opponent. Jackson and Buffalo each rose one spot. The Broncs are now third after a blowout win over Wood River, ID. The Bison moved up to fourth after an overtime loss in Colorado. Worland fell two spots to fifth.

In 2A, Lovell and Lyman are first and second and getting ready to square off this week. The Bulldogs are No. 1 for the second straight week with 17 of the 20 first-place votes. Lyman earned a first-place vote and held onto second. The Tongue River Eagles moved up to third and got a pair of first-place votes. Mountain View also climbed one spot to fourth and edged out Cokeville by three points in the poll. The Panthers dropped to fifth.
