Green River had their homecoming game on Friday as they played host the Torrington Tigers on Friday.  Green River was looking for a notch in the left column following 2 losses to start the season. Torrington was 1-1 starting the night and this game was a defensive struggle with breakthroughs to the end zone in short supply.

That was the score until the 4thquarter when Torrington found their way to the end zone thanks to Trace Floyd, a run of a half a dozen yards to even the game at 7.

Green River scored last and made it stand up as Jensen scored his 2nd touchdown of the game, this time on a 21-yard pass from Jacob Fuss to make it 14-7 and the Wolves hung on from there. The final, Green River 14 and Torrington 7. Both teams will be at home this week as Green River at 1-2 will host Star Valley while Torrington at 1-2 will take on Lander
