Upton-Sundance Registers 1st Win of the Year

Sometimes you have to create your own fortune and Upton-Sundance created that good fortune on Friday by forcing 4 turnovers in their 24-7 win over Wheatland. This was a win that the Patriots desperately need as they sit at 1-4 overall and within reach of the 2A playoff with a couple of more wins and some help. Upton-Sundance has played some good teams close as they lost to Tongue River by 12 and Burns by 13. Eli Gill has been fantastic in defense for this team with 71 tackles. He's also the team's leading rusher on offense. The Patriots will be on the road this week in Torrington.

It's been a tough season for Wheatland at 2-5 overall and they have been held under 10 points 3 times this season. Aric Suko has been doing a really nice job for the Bulldogs with 46 tackles on defense and the teams leading rusher on offense. Wheatland has a big game in determining their post-season fate when they host Burns on Friday.
