The Wheatland football team certainly has a lot of talent in the 2021 season. Receiver Jake Hicks has been selected all-state twice in his career and caught 42 balls for 778 yards last season. Quarterback Kade Preut threw for over 1400 last season plus they have a superb all-purpose guy in Rodee Brow.

The Bulldogs had their issues on Friday against Big Horn but fought through the adversity and beat Big Horn 20-13. Wheatland had some issues with turnovers and penalties but that kind of stuff is correctable. This team has enough skill to make life very difficult on their opponents,

We talked with Jake Hicks and Rodee Brow after that contest on Friday night in Platte County. They'll take the win, no matter how they got there.
