Wheatland Uses Big Plays to Down Upton-Sundance

Wheatland has won all four of their games this season and came up with some gigantic plays to beat Upton-Sundance on Friday 38-28. The Bulldogs got a punt return for a touchdown from Rodee Brow and a 100 interception return for a touchdown from Jake Hicks.

Upton-Sundance got a terrific effort from Luka Brooks who caught an 81-yard touchdown pass, a 61 yard TD pass, and also returned a kick-off 89 yards to the end zone.

Wheatland led by 10 after one-quarter of play and had a 24-6 advantage at halftime. The Patriots showed some serious fortitude with a solid 2nd half of play but came up short for the first time this year.

Wheatland at 4-0 will head over Glenrock on Friday while Upton-Sundance will be at home to take on Torrington, in Upton. We do have a short video to share with you plus a few pics from Tony Montoya and Marsha Barritt. Enjoy!
