Wright’s Jaxson Neely Joins 1000 Point Circle
Jaxson Neely of Wright led his team to the 2A State Boys Basketball Tournament and in the process, reached the 1000-point mark in his career. At the conclusion of the season, Neely had rung up 1034 career points and averaged 20 points per game this past year. He led the Panthers in scoring with 608 total and the team ended up taking 3rd at the State Tournament. Neely was an All-State selection in 2024 and his best game at State was a 21-point effort vs. Kemmerer.
Neely also led his squad in scoring in his sophomore season, averaging 12 points a game and 678 total. He had 48 points in his freshman year, appearing in 28 games,
