Coaches and media voters took notice on what happened in Class 4A last week, since it was the only class where games counted.

All 5 4A teams that won last week, were in the pre-season top 5, and they continued to be ranked, but not in the same order. Sheridan and Natrona retain the #1 and #2 spots. Based off of last week's results, both teams should have tune-up games, before next week's clash at Casper. Cheyenne East and Thunder Basin each moved up 1 spot to #3 and #4 respectively. Kelly Walsh drops from #3 to #5, after posted the least impressive win last week, but they will have a chance to prove themselves this week, when they visit the Thunderbirds.

Disclaimer: The rankings have no official say on post-season positioning, and are only to be used as a measuring stick on the regular season. Please don't read too much into the rankings.

As for the remaining classes, the rankings remain the same from the pre-season poll.

Games played last week were either exhibitions or scrimmages and the results don't count on a teams' record.
