The postseason for boys’ swimming and diving teams is here. Four sites are hosting the conference championships on Friday and Saturday.

This is the first Winter Sport to reach its final stage.

Class 3A competes in Lander and Worland. Class 4A will hold theirs in Cheyenne and Green River.

Next week will feature ‘Last Chance’ qualifying meets, and the state championships are in Gillette on Feb. 16-18, 2023.

Before that, there is one final regular-season dual swim meet.

Tuesday, Jan. 31:

Buffalo 55 Cody 47 – dual

Conference Meets – Feb. 3 & 4:

4A West – in Green River (Rock Springs is hosting at GRHS Aquatics Center)

Teams = Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Rock Springs

Friday Schedule = Prelims at 1 p.m. (starts with 8 rounds of diving; swimming to follow)

Saturday Schedule = Finals at 10 a.m.

Laramie won 7 of the 12 events. Kyle Morton of Laramie won the IM and Breaststroke races. John Spicer of Rock Springs won the 200 & 100 freestyle races. Jackson's Scott Hunter won the fly and the backstroke. Laramie won 2 of the 3 relays.

TEAM SCORES: Laramie 433, Rock Springs 277, Kelly Walsh 225, Jackson 112, Natrona County 92.

4A East – in Cheyenne at East High School

Teams = Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Sheridan, Thunder Basin

Friday Schedule = Prelims at 2 p.m. (starts with 8 rounds of diving; swimming to follow)

Saturday Schedule = Finals at 9 a.m.

Central won 6 of the 12 events in the finals. Sheridan's Ben Forsythe won the 50 free and 100 breaststroke races. He was the only 2-event winner. Central won 2 of the 3 relays.

TEAM SCORES: Central 345, Sheridan 311, East 180, Campbell County 169, South 101, Thunder Basin 86.

3A South – in Lander

Teams = Evanston, Green River, Kemmerer, Lander, Lyman, Rawlins, Sublette County

Friday Schedule = Prelims at 2 p.m. (starts with 8 rounds of diving; swimming to follow)

Saturday Schedule = Finals at 10 a.m.

Lander won 8 of the 12 events at the meet. Dylan Huelskamp captured the 50 & 100 freestyle races. The Tigers swept all 3 relays. Brady Young from Green River won the 200 & 500 freestyle races.

TEAM SCORES: Lander 386, Green River 255, Evanston 186, Kemmerer 144, Lyman 118, Rawlins 111, Sublette County 87.

3A North (Absaraka Conf.) – in Worland

Teams = Buffalo, Cody, Douglas, Newcastle, Powell, Riverton, Worland

Friday Schedule = Prelims at 3 p.m. (starts with 8 rounds of diving; swimming to follow)

Saturday Schedule = Finals at 10 a.m.

Buffalo won 7 of the 12 events. The Bison swept all 3 relays. Tommy Wonka won the IM & Breaststroke races. Brogan Byram took 1st in the 50 & 100 freestyle races. Riverton's Zachary Osborne won the 200 & 500 freestyle races. Cody's Joseph Killpack captured the butterfly and backstroke races.
