The South Shrine Bowl football team picked up the pace in practice on Thursday as the big All-Star game will be here before you know it. Kick-off is at 2 pm on Saturday at Natrona County High School and the South team won last year's contest 27-24.

This is an all-class event and the guys who play 6-man football have big adjustments to make. At the end of the day, these guys are pretty good athletes and it may take a little longer, but they'll pick things up and be ready to play on Saturday.

Seth Maxson of Little Snake River rang up over 1600 yards rushing this past season with 22 touchdowns. He was an All-State selection in 1A 6-Man and an All-Conference pick in 1A basketball which which shows you the athleticism that he possesses.

Quade Jordan from Encampment was a touchdown machine for the Tigers in 2023 as he reached the end zone 38 times running the football. He finished with 1614 yards rushing and had a sharp State 1A Outdoor Track Meet in the throwing events. He placed 1st in the shot put with a toss of 57-65 and won the event by a considerable distance. Jordan took the silver medal in the discus throw going 155-1.

We talked with these guys about the switch to the 11-man game and the Shrine Bowl experience this week.
