The windy conditions were not conducive to a high scoring football game so Lyman leverages their defense and earned a 14-3 win over Torrington to win the 2A state championship on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles scored both of their touchdowns in the last 9:30 of the game and the Lyman defense forced 5 turnovers.  The Eagles finished the season 11-1 and won a state title for the first time since 2012. Torrington wraps things up at 8-3. Take a look at some of the images from that title game on Saturday.
