This season was certainly a challenge for the Greybull Buffaloes but this team punched their ticket to the 2A State Tournament thanks to a 5 set win over Rocky Mountain in the Northwest Quad regional. The Buffs entered the state tourney as the #3 seed from the West and had a golden opportunity in the quarterfinal round against Big Horn. Greybull won the first two sets; 25-17 and 25-18 but lost the next 3 sets 26-24, 25-19, and 15-8. In the consolation round, Greybull was swept by Tongue River 25-22, 25-22, and 25-22.

The Buffaloes had one player earn all-state status and that was Shayla Cheatham. Two other players were named all-conference in 2A, Kaylyn Burns and Kylin Stephens. All three of those players were seniors but next year's squad is expected to have 4 seniors and 3 juniors.
