2020 Kaycee Volleyball Wrap
Kaycee entered the 1A state volleyball tournament as the #1 seed from the East and the Bucs got off to a good start in the tournament with a four-set win over Burlington; 25-16, 25-4, 24-26, and 25-6. In the semi-final round, Kaycee played a very entertaining with Meeteetse before falling 25-16, 25-23, 17-25, and 25-20. The Bucs concluded the season at 21-4 with a win in the 3rd place match over Little Snake River 25-19, 25-9, and 25-18
Kaycee had tremendous talent led by two-time all-state player Tinley Pierson. The Bucs had two other players earn all-state distinction; Sierra Kilts and Bindi Hill. In addition to those three, Arlette Ortega-Chavez and Braelyn Kosisek were named all-conference. Just Pierson was a senior this year, so the future looks bright for this program.
