The top two teams will battle for the Class 4A football state championship with Rock Springs going up against Sheridan on Saturday in Laramie.

Sheridan won the regular-season meeting between the two schools in a back-and-forth game from Week 3, 27-24.

This will be the third time they will play each other for a championship but the previous two were in 1934 and 1935. Here we are 86 years later.

WyoPreps had in-depth conversations with both head coaches before the game, Sheridan’s Jeff Mowry, and Rock Springs’ Mark Lenhardt.
