Basketball is a team sport, and when the starters can't do all the work, the bench players have to step up.

The Wyoming Indian bench came through, outscoring Pine Bluffs 23-3, as the Chiefs battled back from an 11-point deficit, to beat defending champ Pine Bluffs in 2 overtimes, 69-67.

Jerry McGill led the way for WIHS with 26 points.

Derek Nipwater added in 17 and Lane Hill had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

The Hornets had 3 players score in double figures.

They were led by Tucker Norman who had a double-double (27 points and 12 rebounds).

Andrew Fornstrom and Justus Golding each added 10 to the cause.
