It's amazing what can happen when a team regroups at half-time.

After scoring only 1 point in the 2nd quarter (19 in the 1st), Lander had a more consistent 2nd half, and took advantage of too many missed 3's by Wheatland, to win 48-42 and advance to the 3A State Championship Game, for the first time since they last won it all back in 2008.

Antonio Coando led the Tigers (23-4) with 13 points, while his team-mate Max Mazurie added in 11.

Mytchell Pollock and Kobey Preuit each scored a dozen for the Bulldogs (11-15), who ended up shooting 5 of 22, from behind the 3-point line.
