3A Boys Basketball Semi-Finals 2019: Powell Vs. Buffalo Recap

If a team is peaking at the right time, then records mean nothing.

Powell shot 65% in the second half (53.3% for the game) and made their free throws down the stretch, to upset defending champ Buffalo in the semi-finals.

Mason Marchant and William Preator scored in double-digits for the Panthers (12-12) with 20 and 15 points respectively.

Aaron Thiele poured in 20 for the Bison (21-4) and Tyce Dahlberg had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Buffalo was able to hang around, thanks to a 14-7 advantage in offensive rebounds.
