After a pair of runner-up finishes in 2018, Rock Springs sophomore Abi Robinson-Kim had two victories at last weekend’s Class 4A State Swim Championships.

Robinson-Kim rolled to a four-second victory in the 200 individual medley race before she rallied in the last 50 yards for a win in the 100 backstroke.

WyoPreps caught up with Robinson-Kim after the state championships and discussed her big day in the video above. She talked about the feeling of winning, plus what it was like to use all four techniques in a single race, her favorite is backstroke, and it showed in her comeback.

Robinson-Kim has two more years to accumulate more state titles for Rock Springs.
