Aubrey DeWine of Campbell County Inks with Black Hills State
Aubrey DeWine of Campbell County is a fantastic 3-sport athlete and she has decided on volleyball for the next step on her sports journey. She will be joining the Black Hills State program and DeWine is a two-time All-State selection in 4A and recorded 312 digs in her senior season with 41 aces. In her junior year, DeWine rang up 278 kills and 274 digs plus she was an All-Conference pick in her sophomore year. In her volleyball career with the Camels, DeWine had 787 digs, 761 kills 158 blocks, and a .167 attack percentage.
She also has made a name for herself on the indoor track circuit where some earned All-State honors. At the 2024 State Indoor Meet in Gillette, she placed 2nd in the 4A high jump at 5-4, 3rd in the 4A long jump at 17-3.75 and her 4x200 relay team took 4th. In 2023, DeWine won the 4A State Championship in the 4A high jump as she cleared 5-2. She was 3rd in the 4A long jump with a leap of 17-3.50, 4th in the 4A 200 in 26.07 and her 4x200 relay team placed 5th.
DeWine also plays in the Camel soccer team and was a 4A All-Conference defender last season and recorded a goal this season against Rawlins.
Black Hills State is a Division II institution in Spearfish, South Dakota that competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
