Wyoming Legion Baseball Scoreboard: April 5-7, 2024
The American Legion baseball regular season for 2024 in Wyoming starts this week with four teams in action. Sheridan will host defending Single-A state champion Powell in a twin bill on Friday night. The games were originally scheduled for Saturday, but to beat the weather, they were moved to Friday. The Gillette Riders and Gillette Rustlers are hosting Miles City, MT.

FRIDAY, APRIL 5:
Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 3 Powell Pioneers 2 - an error led to the game-winning run on a sacrifice bunt attempt in the bottom of the 7th inning. Phillips has 2 hits to pace the Troopers. Queen had 2 hits & 1 RBI for Powell.
Final Score: Powell Pioneers 11 Sheridan Troopers 1 - Pioneers rally for the split in the nightcap. A 7-run 3rd broke it open for the Pioneers. Stenerson had 2 hits (3B) & 2 RBIs. Queen had 1 hit & 2 RBIs.
SUNDAY, APRIL 7:
Miles City, MT at Gillette Rustlers - postponed to April 12 at 4:30 p.m.
Miles City, MT at Gillette Riders - postponed to April 12 at 7 p.m.
