The third week of the Wyoming Legion Baseball season in 2025 is relatively quiet with the upcoming holiday weekend. Most teams are off this week. Some teams have not even started. Only eight of the 23 teams at the top two levels of Legion baseball in Wyoming are trying to get on the diamond. The two Gillette teams and two Cheyenne teams will face out-of-state opponents. The Bulls will host the Jets, and Lovell heads to Sheridan to face the Troopers. All eight have played at least three games this year.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 11 Sturgis (SD) Scoopers 1 - the Riders scored 2 or more runs in  4 of the 5 innings played. Loftus had 2 hits & 2 RBIs. Newman added 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 11 Sturgis (SD) Scoopers 1 - Gillette scored in all 5 innings. Loftus & Partlow had 2 hits & 2 RBIs apiece.

THURSDAY, APRIL 17:

SATURDAY, APRIL 19:

Final Score: Sheridan Jets 14, Buffalo Bulls 3 - the Jets trailed 3-0 and scored the last 14 runs of the game, which included 12 in the 6th inning. Martinson had 2 hits & 2 RBIs. Gillis drove in 3 runs, and Kula had 3 hits for Sheridan.

Final Score: Sheridan Jets 3, Buffalo Bulls 0 - Kula & Martinson combined on a 1-hit shutout on the mound with 10 Ks and just 2 walks. Ormseth & Gillis had RBI singles in the 5th inning.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 7, Lovell Mustangs 1 - the Troopers scored 4 in the 1st and 2 more runs in the 2nd. Barney & Evans both had 2-RBI hits.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 9, Lovell Mustangs 4 - after a 2-2 tie, Sheridan scored the next 7 runs. Destefano had 2 hits & 3 RBIs.
