It is Week 11 of the Wyoming Legion Baseball season in 2024. There are six conference twin bills on this week’s schedule. While there are a few other games on the slate, most of this week’s action revolves around tournaments. There are two in-state tournaments in Jackson and Laramie. Teams are also playing in Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Nebraska. Fourteen teams are playing in tournaments this week.

TUESDAY, JUNE 11:

Final Score: Douglas Cats 9 Laramie Rangers A 6 (conference game) - the Cats used 3 runs in the top of the 7th inning to pull out the road win. Boyson & Johnson had 1 hit & 2 RBIs each.

Final Score: Douglas Cats 16 Laramie Rangers A 2 (conference game) - the Cats scored 4 in the 1st and rolled to a sweep. Kejr had 4 hits (2-2B) & 3 RBIs. Johnson added 3 hits & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 5 Jackson Giants 0 (conference game) - the Riders held a 2-0 lead and scored 3 in the 7th to close it out. Loftus had 3 hits & scored 2 runs. Partlow allowed 6 hits in the shutout and struck out 13.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 12 Jackson Giants 1 (conference game) - the Riders completed the road sweep thanks to 8 runs in the 1st two innings. R. Schilling & Hecker had 3 hits & 2 RBIs apiece.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 4 Miles City (MT) Mavericks 1 - the Troopers scored 3 runs in the 3rd to take the lead for good. C. Hamrick & Barney each had 1 hit & 1 RBI.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 13 Miles City Mavericks 7 - Sheridan scored 10 runs in the 2nd & 3rd innings. C. Hamrick had a double & triple and drove in 6 runs.

Final Score: Torrington Tigers 13 Cheyenne Prep 11 - the Tigers scored 4 runs in the 6th to pull out the road win. Greiman had 3 hits & 3 RBIs. Hibben added 2 hits & 2 RBIs. Kramer homered for the Tigers.

Final Score: Torrington Tigers 7 Cheyenne Prep 4 - 1 run in the 4th & 2 in the 7th allowed the Tigers to get the road sweep. Hibben had 2 hits (3B) & 2 RBIs.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12:

Final Score: Lovell Mustangs 12 Riverton Raiders 3 (conference game) - the Mustangs jumped out 5-0 and never trailed. They scored in all but 2 innings. Rodriguez & Files had 3 hits & 1 RBI apiece.

Final Score: Lovell Mustangs 9 Riverton Raiders 8 (conference game) - the Mustangs scored the game-winning run on a balk in the top of the 7th. Newman had 3 hits & 1 RBI.

Pocatello A Wood Bat Classic in Pocatello, ID

Final Score: Bruins 18U (Idaho Falls, ID) 7 Evanston Outlaws 0 - the Outlaws were held to 5 hits.

Final Score: Green River Knights 6 Stansbury (UT) Blazers 6 (tie) - the game ended in a tie on a time limit. Kovic had 2 hits & 2 RBIs for GR.

Final Score: Pocatello (ID) Razorbacks 6 Rock Springs Stallions 4 - the Razorbacks had a 6-1 lead and held off RS. Oliver had 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Cache Wolverines (Ridgeline, UT) 13 Evanston Outlaws 3 - the Wolverines scored 11 runs in the first two innings.

THURSDAY, JUNE 13:

Final Score: Rawlins Bandits 12 Saratoga Cutthroats 3 (conference game) - the Bandits scored 3 runs in the 1st and built a 9-0 lead. Taffner had 3 hits & 5 RBIs for Rawlins.

Final Score: Saratoga Cutthroats 10 Rawlins Bandits 3 (conference game) - down 3-0, the Cutthroats scored 5 runs in the 2nd and 4 more in the 3rd. Anderson had 2 hits & 3 RBIs. Pickett added 2 hits & 2 RBIs for Saratoga.

Final Score: Riverton Raiders 13 Wheatland Lobos 7 - Riverton broke it open with 11 runs in the last 2 innings. Anderson had 3 hits & 2 RBIs. Martin added 1 hit & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Laramie Rangers A 4 Cheyenne Eagles 3 - Laramie tied it in the 3rd and took the lead in the 4th and held on. Bailey, Tra. Looney and Mohr had 1 hit & 1 RBI each.

Battle for Omaha in Omaha, NE

Final Score: Gillette Rustlers 4 Renegades 3 (8 inns.) - down 3-0, the Rustlers rallied to win and got the game-winning, walk-off, sacrifice fly in the 8th from Hecker.

Final Score: Powell Pioneers 4 Gallatin Valley (MT) Outlaws 1 - a 3-run 3rd pushed Powell to the win. Stenerson had 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 10 Vauxhall Spurs (Alberta, Canada) 0 - a 5-run 3rd pushed the Cubs to the win. Jarrett had 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

FRIDAY, JUNE 14:

Final Score: Casper Oilers 8 Sheridan Troopers 7 (conference game) - Down 7-3, the Oilers scored 5 in the bottom of the 7th and won it on a Parks' RBI single to RF.

Final Score: Casper Oilers 4 Sheridan Troopers 3 (8 inns.) (conference game) - Deveraux had the game-winning, walk-off, RBI single to win it in extras.

Final Score: Collins Collab 10 Laramie Rangers AA 0 - Collins scored 10 runs in the last 3 frames.

Final Score: Collins Collab 10 Laramie Rangers AA 0 - Collins jumped out 6-0 through 3 innings and got the sweep.
