Colin Byrd, a catcher and utility player for Valor Baseball in Casper, has signed to play at Southeast Arkansas College as a catcher. Valor Baseball is a travel baseball program led by head coach Todd Cabrera.

Byrd wrapped up his senior season with an impressive .517 batting average, a .610 on-base percentage, and a .943 fielding percentage. Over his high school career, he maintained a batting average above .400, reaching that mark in each of his last two seasons. In addition to his performance at the plate and behind the dish, Colin was also a strong presence on the mound this season.

"Colin is a dedicated, hardworking athlete, and I have no doubt he will be an asset to Southeast Arkansas College. I’m excited to see what he accomplishes at the next level," said Coach Cabrera.
