Cody's Trey Schroeder Signs for Baseball at Colby CC

Cody Cubs veteran Trey Schroeder will continue his baseball career after signing with Colby Community College in Colby, KS. Trey’s signing furthers a family tradition at the school. Trey’s dad played baseball at Colby CC in the 1990s, his mother attended school there, and his brother, Jackson, is playing baseball for the Trojans.

Trey Schroeder is a two-time all-state and all-conference selection at the Single-A level of American Legion Baseball with the Cody Cubs. He helped Cody win the state championship in 2022 and finish as runner-up in 2023.

Schroeder had a .444 batting average on July 2, 2024. He has 59 hits through 43 games played. That included five doubles, six triples, and one home run. Schroeder has 54 RBIs, has scored 45 runs, walked 23 times, and struck out only 8 times. On the mound, Trey is 7-1 with a 1.947 ERA. He has thrown 50.1 innings across 12 starts.
