The Big Horn boys basketball program has not had a losing season since 2009 and played in the 2A state championship game in 2022 losing to Pine Bluffs for all the marbles. The Rams figure to be a state championship contender this season as they return an all-state player in Toby Schons and two all-conference selections in Cade Baker and Cooper Garber.

Baker averaged 12 points a game last season and Schon at 6-7 is a monster in the post. He averaged 11 points and 8 rebounds a game last season. Big Horn started the season at the Burns Tournament with 3 wins, beating Lingle-Fort Laramie 67-51, Wheatland  47-33, and Arvada, Colorado 79-34. The sky is the limit with this group it seems and we talked with Schon and junior Caleb Gibson after their win over LFL. we also have some photos to share in our gallery below. Enjoy!
