Big Horn 2A Championship Football Postgame Remarks

Big Horn put a stamp on their undefeated season by cruising by Cokeville 42-12 in the 2A Football Championship game on Friday in Laramie. Quarterback Avon Barney was a remarkable 19-29 for 316 yards with 4 touchdown passes. That was a championship effort! Sophomore Bridger Doke caught 9 balls for 177 yards and 2 scores in another key championship effort. Owen Petty caught a TD pass and led the team in tackles with 16, 9 of them solo. That was a championship effort too!

We had a chance to talk to all three of those guys following their victory at War Memorial Stadium and they atoned for a loss in the 2A Championship last season.
