From the Big Horn Mountains to the Big Stage in Indianapolis, a former Wyoming High School basketball player, has helped one men's college basketball team make it to the Final 4.

Colby Wollenman, who graduated from Big Horn High School in 2011, is a redshirt junior playing for the Michigan State Men's Basketball team.

The Spartans will play in the NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship Tournament Semi-Finals (aka The Final 4) in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday, April 4th vs. Duke.

There is some debate as to whether Wollenman is the first Wyoming High School basketball player, to ever play in a men's basketball Final 4 game. There were 11 Wyomingites that played for the University of Wyoming men's basketball team, when they won the National Championship back in 1943, but had the phrase "Final 4" been coined at that time???

John Gabrielsen was able to get a phone interview with the 2011 Milward-Simpson Award Winner, in regards to the upcoming Final 4 appearance.

Kevin Koile was able to dig through his video library and found the highlights when Wollenman helped the Big Horn Rams win the 2011 2A Boys Basketball State Championship Game.
