Big Piney 1A 9-Man Football Championship Remarks

Big Piney lost just one game this season and that was to Wind River on the road but Big Piney won the game that really mattered over Wind River 39-12 to take the 1A 9-Man state championship on Saturday in Laramie.

The Puncher defense did a really nice job on a talented Wind River offense as Caden Clifford had 13 tackles and Roger Young had 8. On offense, Reuben Stoutenburh rang up 147 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns and also caught 1 ball for 35 yards. Clifford by the way had a stellar day with 127 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns.
