Rock Springs soccer player Brooklin Berry will head eastbound on I-80 in the fall to join the LCCC program in Cheyenne. She was an all-conference selection in 4A as a defender but she is a versatile player so Berry could transition to the midfield. LCCC head coach Lugo Arenas believes that Berry will provide valuable depth in the midfield thanks to top-notch technical ability and vision. In addition to her prep career, she had extensive experience with the Rock Springs Avengers Club team. Berry was a member of the 307 Select Team and the Wyoming ODP Select Team.

Brooklin's older sister Rylee was an all-state soccer player for Rock Springs and also played at LCCC. The Golden Eagles were 10-5-3 this past season and advanced to the National Junior College Tournament in Wichita, Kansas. LCCC went 0-2 at Nationals, losing to Iowa Western and Hill College.
