Camel Wrestling Wins Again
The Gillette Camels went to Miles City, Montana, and won the 53rd edition of the Cowboy Invite. The Custer County High School AD called the event, "tougher than our Montana State Tournament."
The Camels would score 223 points, five better then Belgrade who won the Bozeman Invite just last weekend. Third was a distant 144.5 in Forsyth, Montana. Other Wyoming teams included Powell (6th), Sheridan (10th), Kelly Walsh (14th), Thermopolis (16th), Buffalo (TIE for 18th), and Cody (Tied for 23rd), and Hulett was 27th in the 31 team field.
Individually, the Camels put five in the finals. Only Tanner Olson (145) would win first, however. Jace Jensen of Buffalo beat Taylor Pownall of Gillette for the 171 pound title for the other Wyoming Champion.
