Six Wyoming prep athletes from three high schools in the Cowboy State are competing in the 2026 track meet.

Buffalo took over the top spot with eight of the 14 first-place votes. Rawlins joined the top five in 3A boys, and Thunder Basin re-entered the 4A girls’ poll.

Class 4A girls' top five had the most changes and the only new team in this week's soccer rankings.

The Trojans grabbed No. 1 in 4A girls, while the boys' polls had two new entries.

Class 3A chose 16 players in each of the two leagues. Class 4A opted for 14 players in the two conferences.

The top two finishers in an individual event and the members of a winning relay team in each classification at the state swim meet received all-state accolades.

Cheyenne Central rallied over the last three events to capture the 2026 Class 4A boys swimming and diving state championship.

Over 20 Wyoming High Schools will have an individual competing in this year's Simplot Games.
