Casper Drillers Insight With Manager Tannar Galey [VIDEO]
Already in the midst of a 30-plus win season, the Casper Drillers are one of the favorites heading into next week's state tournament in Cody.
Casper tied for the Single-A Northeast Conference title with the Sheridan Jets. They've already punched their ticket to the state tournament and are in the East District Tournament title game versus Sheridan.
WyoPreps caught up with Casper manager Tannar Galey before the postseason began. He touched on how things went for the Drillers during the season, the big numbers put up by some players, including Saxton Smith, what some of their postseason keys are, and more.
Casper opened the East District Tournament in Douglas with a 20-10 victory over Torrington. The Drillers followed that with a 16-10 comeback win over the Cheyenne Hawks, which gave them a berth in the state tournament next week in Cody.
Casper is 33-13-1 on the 2022 season.
