
Casper’s Weston Phillips Commits to College of Marin for Baseball
Casper Legion Baseball player Weston Phillips will have a chance to compete at the next level as he has committed to the College of Marin in California. In his junior season in 2024, he played club baseball with the USA Prime Team in Colorado, hitting .279 and pitched 18 innings with a 2.35 WHIP and a 6.20 ERA.
Phillips hails from Natrona County High School, and as a sophomore, he played for the Casper Drillers American Legion team, throwing 43 innings, with an ERA of 2.76 and a WHIP of 1.653. He started his baseball career at a young age in the Casper Crush program.
The College of Marin is a junior college institution that competes in the California Community College Athletic Association. The Mariners went 28-16-1 in the 2025 season.
