The final weekend is here for small school boys’ basketball teams in the 2026 season.

The Class 1A and 2A girls’ basketball state tournaments will be in Casper on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Overall, the rankings saw shuffling in most divisions, but only two teams rejoined their respective top fives.

Thermopolis sophomore Izzie Hetzel and Cokeville sophomore Joey Thomas were the winners based on last week’s performances. Previous weeks are not part of the decision.

Thanks to some losses by teams in the top five, 4A saw the most change compared to last week.

Powell and Cheyenne Central re-entered the rankings for the first time since December. Meanwhile, Rock Springs rejoined the boys’ poll after a week out.
