When you watch Chase Hatch of Cody on the football field, you can say, "That's a football player." He's been stellar for the Broncs in his career and has signed a letter of intent to play for Boise State. He also received an offer from Wyoming, and Washington State displayed interest.

Hatch was an All-State selection in 3A as a wide receiver in 2024 as Cody advanced to the State Championship game in this classification. For the year, Hatch caught 52 balls for 617 yards and 6 touchdowns. He had a pair of games where he made 8 catches for 96 yards, vs. Star Valley and Evanston. Hatch was a monster on defense as well with 78 tackles, 23 of them solo.

In his junior season, Hatch was named 3A All-State as a defensive back with an astounding 110 tackles and 8 blocked punts. On offense, he caught 36 balls for 551 yards and 9 touchdowns. Hatch also saw varsity action in his sophomore season with 7 catches for 101 yards and a TD and 28 tackles on defense.

Hatch also played on the Cody basketball team in his junior year and was the team's leading scorer, averaging 11 points a game.

Boise State is currently a member of the Mountain West Conference and the Broncos will begin play in the Pac 12 in 2026.
