Cheyenne East Football Postgame Remarks 9-3-21

Cheyenne East made enough plays on offense to beat Natrona on Friday night and more than enough plays on defense to win the game. The Thunderbirds stopped the Mustangs on a two-point try in the last minute of the game to preserve a 1 point lead.

That's a nice rebound for the T-Birds who lost a tough encounter with Thunder Basin to open the 4A season last week. This team certainly has to re-tool in a number of areas but they certainly have the talent to be a major factor in 4A this season.

After that exciting game in Casper, we caught up with East players Gavin Goff, Garret Schlabs, and Gavyn Aumiller. That was a hard-earned win, to say the least.
