Cross Country Northwest Regional Meet 2016

Some of Wyoming’s best Cross Country runners raced against the best of the Northwest US.

Anna Gibson of Jackson placed 4th individually at the Nike Northwest Regional Cross Country Meet in Boise, Idaho, held on Saturday, November 12th.

She has qualified for the Nike National Cross Country Meet, that will take place December 3rd in Portland, Oregon.

The top 2 placing clubs (based on score) of each gender, automatically qualify for nationals, as well as the top 5 individuals not on automatic placing clubs (based on time) also qualify.

As a team, the Jackson girls placed 4th.

Wyoming was represented with runners from Jackson, Star Valley, Green River, Evanston, Cheyenne Central and Cheyenne East.
