The Wind River boys find themselves in a familiar place with a 4th straight qualification for the 2A state championship with a thrilling 78-72 win over Rocky Mountain in the semi-final round at the Casper Events Center. Win River shot 46% from the field and made 20 of 29 free throw attempts. The Cougars were led by Jarrick Trumball with 23 with Jayln Trumbull throwing in 22. Wind River won its 22nd game of the year against just 3 losses. Rocky Mountain out together some stretches of electric basketball with Jonathon Allred leading the way with 17. Tristan Jewell and Lathan May had 15 each, The Grizzlies will move to the consolation round on Saturday with a record of 21-4
