Campbell County senior Averi DeWine will be playing soccer at the next level. She chose to stay home and compete at Gillette College. The Pronghorns revived their program last fall, and DeWine has signed on in their second recruiting class since returning to competition. She is a three-year letter winner and two-year starter for the Camels.

DeWine is a two-time all-conference choice at defender during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. She’s been one of the anchors on the Campbell County defense and did have one assist last year. The Camels posted four shutouts during the 2023 season. DeWine helped Campbell County finish last spring at 7-7-3 overall and 6-5-1 in the 4A East Conference, where they placed fourth.
