It's hard enough to win a state championship, and going undefeated can be just as if not more difficult.

In their 4th meeting this season, Douglas (27-0) didn't let Buffalo get close, unlike the previous 2, as the Lady Bearcats would cruise to a 62-53 3A State Championship win.

Haedyn Rhoades led the way with 24 points for Douglas.

Joslin Igo added 12 for the cause and Allyson Fertig had a double-double with 10 points and 22 rebounds.

Kaydin Davis was the leading scorer for the Lady Bison with 18 points, while Teaghen Sweckard added in 11.

Douglas out-rebounded Buffalo 46-32, and shot 46.5% from the field, compared to 29.9% for the opposition.
