The Encampment Tigers turned out to be an extremely tough opponent this past season thanks to 4 guys who averaged in double figures. Reid Schroder is a 2-time all-state selection and averaged 11 points a game. Dalton Peterson also made all-state and he threw in 17 a game. Kyler Miller and Dayne Anderson were double-digit guys as well contributing 13 and 10 points per game respectively. At the 1A State Tournament, the Tigers crushed Hanna in the quarterfinal round 77-48 thanks to 19 points from Peterson and 18 from Miller. Encampment shot a whopping 57% from the floor in that game. The Tigers turned in super impressive performance in the semi-final round with a 72-58 win over a very good Upton outfit. Anderson and Schroeder dropped 22 each in that contest. The Tigers shot 55% from the floor in that game. Encampment did suffer a heartbreaking loss to Farson in the state championship game 57-54 in overtime. Schroeder had 20 with Peterson adding 16 points and 13 rebounds. Coming up next season, the Tigers will have the bulk of their scoring coming back as the team loses just 3 seniors.
